For those of you who feel too busy for self-care, I get it. And, I can help.
How did I get here? In 2017, I started my journey with the Whole30 and discovered a path of personal health, energy and empowerment I never knew possible. Like many who have similarly busy lives, I did not prioritize self-care. I worked 10-12 hour days, was tired all the time and didn't love how I looked in my clothes. As a new mom, I found myself on a happy path of family and motherhood, but no closer to my own personal health goals. Then, I started to plan a wedding and found myself pregnant with my second child.
In my panic to get ready for my wedding post-baby, I consulted a new doctor on my quest to lose weight as quickly as I could. She told me about the Whole30 and referred me to the book, "Food Freedom" by Melissa Urban to learn more. She warned me that it was very hard.
Long-story short, I learned I can do hard things and it is totally worth it. I completed my first Whole30 and have maintained what I've learned about Food Freedom to this day. This kick-started to my own journey to personal wellness that has changed my life on many levels. While I did change the way my body looked, I found so many other 'non-scale victories' that drive me to want to share what I've learned with as many people (and especially working mothers) as I possibly can. To date, I've passionately supported others to change their lives and look forward to doing the same for many others,
In my own personal health journey, I've learned that everyone has the capacity to be their WHOLE, MOST AMAZING VERSIONS of themselves.
